Sam Smith is a native Oklahoman serving in his first pastorate. After being saved at a young age and answering the call into the ministry as a teenager, Sam was able to serve in his home church, Cornerstone Free Will Baptist, children's and bus ministry. Right after graduating from Cornerstone Christian Academy in Tulsa, he went to Southeastern Free Will Baptist Bible College where he earned a bachelors degree in Bible and Pastoral Theology and met his wife Jennifer.

Sam has served in churches from North Carolina, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. In January of 2008, Sam moved his family to Grove, Oklahoma to start Foundation Free Will Baptist Church. Sam and Jennifer have two children. Colton who is three, and Savannah who is one. Sam also serves as the president of Grove's Ministerial Alliance.

Foundation Free Will Baptist Church is a mission church that was started by the Oklahoma Free Will Baptist Missions Department and is currently supported by churches all across the country. For almost three years now, Foundation has been able to reach out to familes all over Northeast Oklahoma and even into Missouri, Arkansas, And Kansas and see God change lives.

The goals of Foundation Church are to fulfill the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:18-20, and to grow enough to be a self supporting Chuch to continue to be a light in this area of the world. We desire to be a place where lost souls can find salvation, where wayward souls can find restoration, where committed souls can find motivation, and where every soul can find a firm foundation to build their life upon.

In doing this, God will allow us to be the Church that we need to be in the Grand Lake area. We hope you can come and visit us soon.
